Elon Musk’s xAI to Integrate Grok AI Chatbot into Telegram in $300M Deal

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced a preliminary agreement with Elon Musk’s xAI to integrate the Grok AI chatbot into Telegram and its related apps. The one-year partnership will embed Grok within Telegram’s platform, offering users features like chat interactions, text editing, document summaries, and inbox management.

Telegram stands to gain $300 million in cash and equity from xAI, along with 50% of revenue from xAI subscriptions sold via the platform. Durov teased the collaboration on his Telegram channel, promising access to "the best AI technology on the market" by summer.

The integration, showcased in a promotional video, will include advanced functionalities such as thread management and group chat moderation. This MOVE positions Telegram at the forefront of AI-driven messaging platforms.
